England isn’t the only place stirring. Out on the cold waters of the Irish Sea, a new threat closes in - sails against the horizon, drums echoing over the waves, and a banner no one in Nottingham ever hoped to see again. The Pirates of the Isle of Man have returned, led by Princess Ragnhild, as fierce as the raiders who carved her bloodline into legend. She wants Sherwood’s riches, Nottingham’s vaults, and every vulnerable stretch of land in between.

The Pirates Expansion adds a fifth faction to HOOD: Troubles in Sherwood, raising the player count to five and reshaping the struggle for the forest. Ragnhild’s crew doesn’t play like anyone else at the table. They move fast, hit hard, and raid territories with the same hunger that once drove their Viking ancestors across the sea. Their strength comes from sudden strikes, shifting footholds, and a constant pressure that forces every other faction to react.

This is a campaign-exclusive expansion, available only on Gamefound and not planned for retail. It folds seamlessly into the core experience, adding new strategic tension, unexpected flashpoints, and a faction whose goals collide with everyone’s plans the moment they drop anchor.
