In Battin x Torite, the deck of cards used consists of 6 suits, each with a different range of ranks, and 2 copies of each cards.

The game is "must follow" trick-taking with a trump suit. If a person plays a card of the same rank as it already present in the trick, the previous player with that rank takes any card from their hand and gives it to that player, face down in front of them (not in the trick).

At the end of the game, a players earns points equal to the numbers of cards they took in a suit multiplied by the number of face down cards they have.
