Under Our Sun is a semi cooperative Boardgame about exploration and adventure in which 1 to 4 players take on the roll of survivors. Playtime rangers from 60 to 180 minutes depending on the scenario.

Explore
Head out into the wasteland and uncover a new world, tile by tile.

Craft
Scavenge for crucial resources, craft unique items, weapons, and gear to prepare for the upcoming challenges.

Survive
Navigate an unforgiving landscape and adapt to the extreme conditions.
Here, danger comes in many forms. Be it nature, human or something unknown. Only if you use your individual skills and collaborate, you will be able to reach your goal and survive.

Detailed description

Under our Sun is a semi-cooperative exploration board game set in a post-apocalyptic worl. After a giant asteroid hit the sun, life on earth is at the mercy of the sun. Caused by the impact, sunstorms made of plasma, radiation and magnetic particles wiped out modern technology and turned the northern athmosphere into a desert-like place. As a result, the old concepts of society are replaced by violence, chaos and struggle for survival.
As a member of one of the few remaining righteous communities, you head out into the dangerous wastelands to ensure the survival of your group and fulfill different tasks.

During game setup you have the choice between four unique characters, each with their own strengths and weaknesses. You can opt to play fully cooperative or, to spice things up, play with the possibility of a traitor amongst you. Choose one of the six scenarios included in the core box, all different in difficulty, play time and strategic approach.

In a turn-based gameplay each round represents one day and is divided in different phases (morning, noon, evening, night). On your turn, you can use a limited number of actions in many different ways to reach your goal.

Explore the area, tile by tile, and trigger events which are scattered around the map.
Find precious loot and scavenge for resources to craft unique items to upgrade your character and shelter. Engage in thrilling fights against human enemies, animals, or something completely unknown. Adapt to changing weatherconditions which make life even harder. To succeed in this harsh land, you will have to manage resources, health, and water supply of your character. Only if you use your individual skills and collaborate, you will be able to reach your goal (whatever that may be) and survive.
