The Fallpoint is a semi-cooperative, resource management, and engine-building board game set in a city on the brink of collapse. Players take on the roles of citizens vying for power: the power of the people, of the government, of money, and of knowledge — as they race to pull their city out of crisis.

At the start of the game, you and your fellow players choose a scenario that sets the stage for the city’s crisis, the events that steer the city’s story, and the common goal that secures the city’s survival. Each player also chooses between two Personal Goals to pursue — one cooperative and one selfish — but beware, being too selfish comes with its own pitfalls. If the Fallpoint is reached, everyone loses immediately.

On your turn, spend actions to gain or generate city resources, lead projects that leverage collective resources to shape the city, or use increasingly powerful tools to build influence along four paths — Activism, Politics, Business, and Research. At the same time, scenario events and rising strain on the city will complicate your plans, forcing you to constantly reevaluate your priorities.

As time runs out, your fate will be determined by how much you're willing to sacrifice for the collective good — and how much you keep for yourself.
