In The adventures of Tintin: The Trick-Taking Game, players must uncover the hidden plot cards of their opponents by searching for clues in the various location cards scattered across the world.

Each location card has a different rule for winning tricks, so the player who wins the trick in a given round can ask a question about the plot card belonging to the owner of the location card—provided they meet the requirements of the character cards played that round.

As the game progresses, players eliminate false leads in their notebooks until someone reaches a conclusion and correctly deduces another player's plot card, earning points toward the final score.
