Tea & Schnapps is a contract bidding trick taker that takes inspiration from Ulti and Dreierschnapsen.

In Tea & Schnapps, players are next door neighbors that take turns hosting their own tea & schnapps parties. Before the party starts, the host (forehand) needs to make sure the cooler (talon) is well stocked by putting two cards in it. After stocking the cooler, they must proclaim that their party is starting (bid on a contract).
Once the host is done, the other players can take the time to check the cooler and make their own proclamation or sit on the couch (pass).
The player who makes the best proclamation will be the life of the party (declarer) and must put their money where their mouth is and do what they proclaimed! However, before the first trick, they can check their secret stash (a second talon?!) and exchange two cards with it.

Some proclamation examples are:

Schnapps Party: First to 66+ card points
Designated Driver: Lose every trick

Second Wind: Win 4+ tricks, one of them must be the last trick
Last Call On Schnapps: Win the last trick with the 1 of Trump and/or reach 66+ card points

If a player successfully proclaims, they will score game points equal to that contract. Otherwise, the other players will split those game points instead.

The first player to the required game points will score 1 match point. The first to 1/2/3 match points in a short/medium/long game wins!

There is an advanced version of the game that includes compulsory contracts, feats, and compendium-style contracts!
