Tajemství Býčí skály is a competitive family game where players explore caves in Moravian Karst. Players represent cave explorers in 19th century, exploring the caves and trying to find historical findings they can bring into the museum.

At the beginning of the game, players draw four hexes and place their meeple at the cave entrance.

Each turn, they then can use one of the hexes to expand the discovered cave system. The placed hex either gives the player some victory points (represented here as golden diamond pieces), or contains some secrets to be excavated. These secrets are represented by card with an X on them.

The players can then either move their meeples, or they can excavate and uncover one card on hex they are standing on. The card may contain archaeological treasure or perhaps some action they can use in the next turns.

The game ends when either all VP diamonds are depleted, or no cards can be placed. The player with the most VPs is the overall winner.
