Helmet on, board strapped in, and off you go! In Snowy Tricks, the fresh snow is ready on the slopes and the competition is underway. As a snowboard instructor, you want to prove that you are the best. Send your students down the mountain, have them perform spectacular tricks, and outsmart your opponents!

Snowy Tricks is a strategic trick-taking game in which you score points by claiming prizes. By choosing the right moment to win, or deliberately lose a trick, you collect the cards you need to meet the requirements of the different prizes. The instructor who uses their students most effectively will collect the most valuable prizes and win the game!

How to play Snowy Tricks

At the start of the game, prizes are revealed in four different categories. Each prize has its own objective that you can try to achieve during the game. The game is then played over several rounds, in which you use the tricks you have won to meet the requirements of these prizes. Clever instructors can even claim multiple prizes in a single round!

During each round, players play several tricks using the student cards dealt to them. Depending on the number of players, different students will take part in the game. The trump student is then determined by revealing a card from the remaining deck.

The player who plays the most impressive student – the highest card in the leading colour or the trump colour – wins the trick and collects all the cards played. They then lead the next trick. This continues until all players have played all the cards in their hands.

Then it is time to claim the prizes. At the end of a round, each player checks whether the tricks they have won meet the requirements of one or more prizes. For each prize they have achieved, they place one of their instructor cards underneath that prize. You may claim several different prizes in the same round, but each player can only claim the same prize once per round.

In a later round, you can claim the same prize again. This allows you to place more instructor cards under the prizes and steadily increase your score.

As soon as one or more players place their final instructor card, the game ends. Add up the points from all the prizes you have claimed. The instructor with the most valuable collection of prizes wins Snowy Tricks!
