Pola and Kody's board has 2 sides. Both modes are light, with the ice side being more competitive leaning.

The ice board starts empty except for 2 20pt chips near the center. These are double sided as the opponent can flip and capture them in their color (by surrounding with 8 chips). The winner will have the most points by the end game trigger (one bear fully crosses the board).

On your turn; role the die to place your chips and move. Odd places 1 while even places 2 (both anywhere on the board). Bears can only move on their own color chips; orthogonally up to the die result. Place chips strategically to block your opponent.

Sandwiching an opposing chip or chips between 2 of your own captures them. These chips have point values on the bottom, (even negative) that you alone will know if captured. If your opponent is playing to extend the game they likely picked up negative points! A bear standing on captured chips is returned to their start.

Each player has an equal amount of special chips with abilities. Some can take over other chips by stacking, or move the 20 point chip to set up a combo. Capturing an opposing one moves it to your hand for use.

Crossing the board first ends the game and awards 10pts. The opponent will lose 10pts if they are still on their side of the board (first 4 rows), or just gain 0 if on your side at end trigger.

For the Forest board, chips are placed to create a maze both bears are racing through (think traditional role and move). Rolling a 6 will swap places of both bears!
