Picobo is strategy game that is a mix of both Scrabble and chess. The goal is to use power supplies and connectors to route energy to your little robots.

All players first choose their prefered set of rules.

Then, each player choose his/her color of Picobo. The color represent a form of renewable energy or element (soil, water, organic matter, wind and sun), which matches the Picobo’s special power.

Turn by turn, each player place their tokens in the center of the table in a checkerboard pattern (power supplies = light ; connectors / Picobos = dark).

Those power supplies and connectors eventually forms formulae that are needed to route energy to your Picobos, which you’ll have to place strategically to maximize energy input. Those formulae must be read in the direction toward the Picobo, which means a single line might be worth different energy levels depending on the direction it is being read. Use your Picobo’s special power to your advantage.

When all players are done placing their tokens, the energy is counted player by player, Picobo by Picobo to determine the total amount of energy gained by each player. The player with the most energy wins the game
