- GAME SUMMARY -
In Operation HUMINT - Case Officer, you step into the role of a Chief of Station for a major global intelligence agency. Your mission is to build and manage a network of human assets across a city of shadows to gather critical intelligence. The game captures the high-stakes world of modern espionage: you must spot high-value targets, identify their psychological vulnerabilities (Money, Ideology, Coercion, or Ego), and deploy your agents to recruit them before rival services can intervene. Every piece of intelligence collected is "pending" and vulnerable until it is safely exfiltrated back to your embassy for validation. Between managing your Case Officer and Operational Teams, you must navigate a web of surveillance, counter-surveillance, and constant negotiation with rivals who may be your enemies one turn and your partners the next.

- GAMEPLAY SUMMARY -
The game is played over a set number of rounds, with each player managing three types of agents: a Chief of Station, a Case Officer, and an Operational Team. Your turn consists of movement followed by a strategic intelligence action. Spot an Asset: Move to Targeting areas to find potential assets and identify their handling locations and expertise. Recruit: Use Operational Resource cards (MICE) to exploit an asset’s vulnerabilities and bring them into your service. Handle: Collect intelligence cubes from your assets based on their circle of access. Disrupt Rivals: Deploy your Operational Team to surveil opposing embassies or handling locations, effectively blocking your rivals from acting. Validate: Return your agents to the embassy to secure your pending intelligence into Victory Points. The game concludes with a Revelation Phase, where players accuse rivals of specific secret directives to steal points and unveil the true master of the shadow game.
