The players are investors who compete in a series of auctions to purchase the most effective sustainable energy technologies in order to come out on top at the end of an intense game of energy poker with the highest number of terawatts produced.

The activities in the game take place almost simultaneously – downtime is minimal.
Bids are made in three stages, in which players simultaneously lay down one card each showing a monetary amount for one of the technologies.
Once each player has laid down three cards, the auction proceeds automatically, with each player bidding (must bid!) for the technology for which they have laid down the highest total amount in their three cards.
When laying down the first two cards, players watch each other and assess their chances – it is only with the third card of each auction that it becomes clear who is in the lead for which technology.
The cards are designed according to the principle of green storytelling – all the technologies depicted in the background are sustainable technologies.
