Per the designers:

The Thann 1809 game recreates the April 19, 1809 battle during which Austrian Archduke Charles attempts to isolate and destroy Marshal Davout’s III Corps before Napoleon arrives, along with substantial reinforcements, at the Bavarian front just two days prior to the Battle of Eggmühl. Tabbed as a meeting engagement battle, both the French and a greatly strengthened Austrian Armee fought an intense all-day battle only ended by a torrential rainstorm.

The size of the Thann map is 24 inches high and 36 inches wide...Thann 1809 can be played by itself or together with La Bataille de Dünzing 1809, another of the trilogy downloads. Thann 1809 and Dünzling 1809, along with Rohr 1809, make up the pre-Eggmühl 1809 trilogy.
