This game is the second installment in a trilogy supplement to be played using the counters from La Bataille d’ Eggmühl 1809 as published by Marshal Enterprises in 2024.

The package includes a new map; supplement detail; special rules; information about formations and special situations. Other information associated with the Dünzling 1809 campaign is located on the Marshal Enterprises website.

This is a game of rear guard delay and opportunity/reaction charges , with 20 or so counters on a side and a time limit to achieve victory.
Dünzling 1809 is designed to be played in less than one day.
This game is a great teaching tool for La Bataille tactics.

The actual battle of Dünzling 1809 is based on French light troops and cavalry delaying the advance of the Austrian IV Korps. The Austrians are strung out along their line of march, directed at turning Davout’s III Corps’ flank and destroying the III Corps and then exiting to the Donau.
