Jerez, 1920s. Wineries are part of the landscape of a city whose history is deeply intertwined with wine. Beneath their high ceilings and among endless rows of barrels, some of the region's most distinctive wines slowly age.

Manage your own winery to produce Fino, Oloroso, and Pedro Ximénez. Introduce your wines into a criaderas and solera system, where the passage of time will increase their quality and value.

Experience the charm of Jerez in the 1920s, a land of wineries and tabancos where wine, the passage of time, and generations of tradition set the rhythm of the city.

Jerez is played over 4 rounds. Once the fourth round ends, the player with the most points wins the game.

Each round is divided into three phases: Production Phase, Action Phase, and Prestige Phase.

Production Phase

Turns are taken clockwise. On their turn, a player selects a combination from the board consisting of an action card, a die, and a track tile. Take the tile and place it in one of your production tracks. Use the die on the production track matching its color and keep the card to resolve it during the Action Phase. During this phase, each player takes 3 turns.

Action Phase

Resolve each of the cards selected during the Production Phase in any order you choose. If you do not want to perform an action, you may discard the card to receive other benefits instead.

Prestige Phase

The player with the most prestige receives the first player token. All players who have crossed the prestige threshold receive a round bonus. Starting with the player with the most prestige, each player chooses whether or not to reset their track in order to select one of the two available round scoring options.

Actions

Produce: Jerez is a track-building game. Each player has four tracks on their player board that can be customized using the game's tiles. Build your engine and use dice to activate a number of tiles from left to right according to the value of the die. Gain prestige, coins, points, or must to introduce into your criaderas system.

Activate Criaderas: The criaderas form Jerez's wine-aging system. Introduce must and let it age through the different levels. Each drop introduced into the system pushes the next one down. Drops that reach the final row become bottled wine, or you may sell them directly from the final row of barrels.
Sell: Sell wine directly from the solera (the final row of barrels) or once it has been bottled. Gain points, coins, and prestige.

Expand your winery: Add more barrels to increase your production capacity.
