LOVE(LA)PLACE is a deck of cards that includes the numbers 0 to 19 in 3 suits. However, each number only exists in two of the three suits (with the exception of 0, 10, and 19, of which there is only one of each, with 0 being an unsuited card). Rules for many games were available on the publisher's website following the LOVE(LA)PLACE's release.

Triangular Situation, the rules that shipped with the deck, is a must-follow trick-taking game for two or three players. As for each turn, Players must play a card that matches the led suit, with the 0 card acting as a wild that may be played at any time. Regardless of suit, the highest card wins, with ties going to the later card played. In a 2-player game, a player sets aside their winning card where it can be seen, because the round ends when a color has won three tricks. The final winning card of the round is set aside and the other cards are returned to the deck, and when a color has won three rounds the last player who won with that colors wins the entire game.

Before each round begins, players may play one face-down card for a maximum of three throughout the game, which will work toward a tiebreaker. If no color wins three times before players run out of cards, players compete in a round-long tiebreaker involving any cards turned face-down.
