The Industrial Revolution in Yorkshire began in the late 18th century. Inventions and improvements to manufacturing processes, advantageous geology and geography as well as established local practices and traditions, determined the progress of industrial change.
In Ironmasters of Yorkshire players will take on the role of coal mine owners and steel producers. Players will develop their mines and steel furnaces as well as increase their investment in local markets. As time goes by, they will start to acquire industrial companies which will increase consumption.
