This is the Dominion of the Roses Fight Battles of the Wars of the Roses Solo Game.

This standalone set of rules is built on the Dominion of the Spear solo game system with appropriate rule changes for the Wars of the Roses, most noticeably missile fire before melee starts in earnest and units being defeated after two hits instead of one.
These are very very simple rules with armies of 3-6 units and a solo battle can be fought in 10 minutes or so. An example play through is included of the Battle of Tewkesbury 1471.
There is a Quick Reference Sheet on the back cover.

Use paper and pen (or model figures of any scale) as there is no measuring (grid used).
Uses 2 six sided dice.

There are rules for creating and fighting generic Wars of the Roses battles but 17 historical battles are included ready to play, each with a brief background, army lists, deployment, and brief account of what happened historically.

Battle of Losecoat Field (Empingham) 12th March 1470 14. Battle of Barnet 14th April 1471 15. Battle of Tewkesbury 4th May 1471 16. Battle of Bosworth Field 22nd August 1485 17. Battle of Stoke Field 16th June 1487.

This is easily read on a tablet or mobile phone and can be printed as an A5 booklet - click booklet (and fit to page in printing options depending on the program used). 40 A5 pages.
