A resource-management strategy game based on the Dispersion of the 12 apostles following the resurrection of Jesus Christ. In Dispersion, players seek to gain the most Followers to "THE WAY" by building House Churches and City Churches.

On their turn, players use Blessing resources to move their apostle piece in an attempt to build churches in the seven known regions in the ancient world (the world map is based on the Greek geographer, Strabo, whose map was in use in 30 A.D.).

Mission cards and Hardship cards are used to build churches. On their turn, players need to determine if they have to acquire more resources (i.e., Blessing, Mission, Hardship) to use on later turn; proceed to build one or more churches; or play the special action from a Disciple card that can gain them additional resources, churches or followers.

Players can Disciple cards when they build churches. They also can gain the assistance of other Apostles when establishing the last House Church in a region. The game ends when nearly all City and House Churches are built and a player lands at Omega.
