Each player receives two pawns of one color and places one pawn in entrance E. The players roll the die and advance their pawns by the number of spaces they rolled. Players may skip their own and opponents' pawns. As soon as a player reaches or exceeds space 14 with their first pawn, they place their second pawn in E and may now move both pawns alternately as they wish.
Several pawns may be placed on the large squares at the same time. If a pawn lands on an occupied small square, the pawn standing there must be eliminated and placed on E. If a pawn lands on a square that has a passage to another square, then on its next move it must be placed further through that square by the number of pips thrown.
If a pawn lands on square 66, then it must traverse maze 0, step by step, one square at each throw, regardless of the number of pips thrown; from square 59 onwards, it rejoins the game. If a piece lands on square 75, then it must traverse maze I-X; the pips thrown count. A piece on square 98 must be moved to the darkroom D on its next move, from which it may only be moved to 100 after the player has rolled 3 eyes. A pawn may be moved from squares 95, 96, 97, and 99 to 100 even if more eyes than necessary have been rolled.
The first player to move both of their pawns to 100 wins.
