You start with 7 cards in your hand, and there are face-up cards on the table. You begin your turn by deciding whether you want any of the table cards. If you do, you may discard the same number of cards from your hand and take those cards from the table, allowing you to create a strong starting hand.

You can then use your cards to perform various actions (for example: stealing cards, grabbing money from another player’s piggy bank, trying to slow down an opponent, or drawing more cards for yourself), or to acquire customers from the market, which adds money to your piggy bank.
You go through these steps every turn.

If you have paid close attention to who is currently the richest player, you can adapt your turn accordingly. If you know that you are the richest, you may try to end the game as quickly as possible. If you are not, you can adjust your turn to try to make another player poorer.

The game ends as soon as one of the four customer colors is depleted. At that point, the player who has collected the most money is declared the winner.

Je hebt 7 kaarten in je hand en er liggen kaarten open op tafel. Je begint je beurt door te kijken of je liever kaarten van de tafel hebt en dan kun je er evenveel uit je hand wegdoen en die van de tafel pakken om zo een fijne starthand te hebben. Je kunt de kaarten vervolgens inzetten voor diverse acties(bijvoorbeeld: kaarten stelen, een graai doen in de spaarpot met geld van een ander, proberen een ander te vertragen of jezelf meer kaarten te bezorgen) of om klanten van de markt te halen waardoor er geld in je spaarvarken komt.
Deze stappen doorloop je elke beurt.
Heb je goed onthouden wie de rijkste op dat moment is, dan kun je daarop je beurt aanpassen. Weet je dat jezelf de rijkste bent, dan kun je proberen het spel zo snel mogelijk te beëindigen. Ben je dat niet, dan kun je je beurt aanpassen om te proberen een ander armer te maken.

Het spel eindigt zodra er 1 kleur van de 4 kleuren klanten op is. Dan wordt er gekeken wie het meeste geld heeft verzameld en die is daarmee de winnaar.
