Cinema Trick is a trick-taking game for 3–6 players with a movie production theme. Players become directors creating a film about the life of a duck — or rather, its entire "duck life." Before each round begins, players predict how many Cuts they will create and begin filming to complete their perfect movie.

Cinema Trick keeps the excitement of trick-taking while offering a more accessible experience with simple rules. Unlike traditional trick-taking games, there are no suits. Players only need to focus on the numbers on their cards, making the game easy to learn while still providing meaningful choices and strategic depth.

Unlike many trick-taking games where the number of tricks is fixed, the scenes created in Cinema Trick are constantly changing. The number of Cuts in each round depends on the decisions made by the players, creating unexpected moments and dramatic changes in the flow of the film.

Winning the most scenes is not always the goal. The best director is the one who can complete the exact amount of filming they planned. With simple rules, prediction, and psychological play, Cinema Trick creates a unique trick-taking experience where every scene can become the highlight of the movie.
