Blood and Skulls: The Crucible is a dark fantasy tactical survival game for 1–4 players. Each session presents a narrative-driven experience in which players guide flawed heroes through a hostile world shaped by corruption, sacrifice, and moral choices.

The game is structured around three phases—The Descent (exploration and preparation), The Crucible (combat and confrontation), and The Sanctum (rest and resolution). These phases create a cycle of tension and decision-making where wounds, actions, and psychological strain have long-term consequences. Corruption, madness, and addiction function as integrated mechanics that influence a character’s power and development.

Players may engage with standalone scenarios or follow a connected campaign of twenty missions in which decisions affect heroes and world state. Progress, narrative branches, and character evolution combine to create replayability and a sense of persistent risk.
