Már épül csodálatos kastélyod, és Neked kell megmondanod, hogy milyen és mekkora legyen, azonban a munkásaidnak pontos útmutatást és építőelemeket is kell biztosítanod. Minden játékos egy kút köré építkezik. Fontos, hogy úgy építsd fel kastélyodat, hogy minden lakója mindig el tudjon jutni a kúthoz. Minden építőelem rendelkezik egy bizonyos színnel (kék, piros, barna, fehér, zöld, lila), amelyek meghatározzák az elem árát, de a pontozást is befolyásolják.
A játékban pontot ér a várunkban megtalálható épületek száma (egyik épületelemből kimagaslót kell alkotnunk, például a mi várunk rendelkezik a legtöbb toronnyal vagy kerttel), de az is fontos, hogy milyen hosszú érintkező várfallal rendelkezünk. Az elemek ára a játékban használt 4 pénznem egyikében van meghatározva. A játékosok rendelkeznek különböző címletű és különböző pénznemű csomagokkal, azonban ezeket nem lehet be- illetve felváltani. Minden körben három választási lehetőség van: vagy pénzt gyűjtesz, vagy építőanyagot vásárolsz, vagy a várad építésével foglalkozol. Az építkezések során szerzett pontokat beszámítva a pontozó táblán kell előre haladnunk, és az a játékos nyer, aki a legmesszebb jut el.
Vajon sikerül Neked megépíteni a legnagyobb, legértékesebb illetve a legbiztonságosabb Alhambrát? Akinek sikerül a legmesszebb eljutni a pontozó táblán, az nyeri majd meg ezt a taktikai, stratégiai játékot. Vigyázz a pénzedre, vásárolj okosan, és ne feledd, a kúthoz mindenkinek hozzá kell férnie. A városfalak akadályozzák az újabb elemek odacsatolását, azonban fontos pontokat hozhatnak az értékelésnél.
