Yokai Pagoda társasjáték

A Yokai Pagoda egy nagyon könnyen tanulható társasjáték, 2 - 5 játékos részére, az átlagos játékidő rövid, csak 10 - 15 perc. A társast, a könnyebb tanulhatósága miatt, akár már 8 éves kortól ajánljuk kipróbálni. A játékmenet erősen épít a pakli tervezés és a hot potato mechanizmusokra.

Calm the wrath of Yokai living in the Pagoda and avoid failing in your offerings.
A mysterious building stands on the hill, bathed in twilight. Astonished by the Pagoda's strange aura, you decide to investigate it. Suddenly, a laugh, a shadow that is not your own and an eye with ominous pretensions come alive. You have broken the peace of ten powerful Japanese spirits (called Yokai) resting there! Will you find a way to calm their anger?

A game of Pagoda Yokai is played in 3 rounds, always playing one card per turn, until someone finishes the current round. To play a game, shuffle the 100 number cards (divided by 10 types of Yokai, numbered 1 to 10), place two cards face up to start the two discard piles, and then deal seven cards to each player. Place the rest as the Pagoda deck, between the discard piles.

When you play a card, deal one of the following effects:

• If you play the same Yokai or the same number, you can give someone a card from your hand.
• With a different Yokai and a higher number you can draw a random card from the deck -or- the first card face up from the opposite discard pile.
• With a different Yokai and a lower number you can continue with the round as if nothing happened -or- finish the current round, but only if you have a total amount of three or less points in your hands. But... you only have to take into account the lowest card of each type of Yokai you have!

At this point, everyone keeps the cards from his hand in a personal reserve. After 3 rounds, the one who has less points in his reserve wins but... again you must take into account only the lowest card of each type of Yokai you have.

Try to match the balance between losing cards or keep the exact amount you need to reduce your score when the other player finishes the round. In Yokai Pagoda, knowing when to give a card, keep playing or end the round makes all the difference!
