Yer ve Su: Dokuz Eşik is a cooperative mythic adventure board game inspired by Turkic mythology, oral storytelling, and epic quest traditions. Players take the roles of heroes journeying through sacred lands, cursed paths, ancient signs, and forgotten places where an unnamed threat slowly reveals itself.

During the game, players move together across a scenario map, complete quests, face mythical creatures, manage fear and danger, and develop their characters through gained renown. Each character has a distinct role, such as alp, kam, baksı, avcı, ozan ve alcı (warrior, shaman, healer, hunter, bard, or reder, and cooperation is essential to survive the journey.

The game is won by uncovering the nature of the hidden threat, overcoming the trials of the Nine Thresholds, and defeating the final enemy before fear and darkness consume the land. The experience combines narrative exploration, tactical combat, character progression, and shared decision-making.
