From the front of the instruction book: "A mosaic is traditionally the creation of a design by the combination of components. Wordsaic combines components of words in a new and unusual way to provide a mosaic of words and pictures."

In WordSaic, players solve word problems in order to complete their collection of mosaic tiles. Roll the dice to determine which clue you receive and solve the multi-part clue. Each part of the clue gives players a hint at one or two syllables of the solution word.

Example clue: "5th letter of the alphabet, cut the grass, lower leg"

Solution word: "EMOTION" (e - mow - shin)
