Wastelands: Discover a Hidden Dystopia is a prequel to Euphoria: Build a Better Dystopia. Set in the same world as Euphoria, Wastelands introduces players to recruits as they start to discover that the world is not what it seems. Players gather clues in a race to reveal the hidden dystopian society in which they live.

Wastelands is a tile-discovery game in which players are laying tiles and moving meeples around the ever-expanding board to grab resources and information from those tiles as they try to figure out the truth about the world. Players can trade in resources for better abilities in their search for clues. Some tiles encourage players to visit them multiple times, while other tiles should only be visited once to unearth a clue. The first player to discover the story behind the dystopia wins.
