Wankul is the first trading card series based on the Wankil universe.

Wankul is a trading card game that doesn't just let you collect cards, it also lets you battle it out in fast-paced duels where combos are the main feature. Face off against your opponents using a deck of cards inspired by the best of the creators Laink and Terracid.

Your objective: Play your Characters on different Fields, discarding your opponent's cards until his deck is empty or winning 5 duels around the Field and victory is yours!

You can win the game by emptying your opponent's deck of cards. In trading card terms, this is called “grinding”: at any time, if a player needs to draw a card and can't because his deck is empty, he looses!

There's a second option for victory: if, following a score, you win a 5th Field, you also immediately win the game.

Game round

The active player's turn is divided into three phases, to be completed in order.

During the active player's turn... that player is active! The other player should not interrupt it. However certain card effects may cause the active player to pause his turn to give his opponent time to resolve his effects.

1- Draw 2 cards
2- Check the Fields

If, at this stage, there is no or only 1 field in play, the active player must complete the process by playing 1 Field from his hand.
If he has none, he unstacks the cards from his deck one by one, revealing the cards to his opponent until he finds a Field.

Unstacked cards are returned to the deck.

3- Playing cards

During this phase, the active player can play up to 4 Character cards.

On the other hand, if cards effects modify the cost of a card, this does not modify the limit of 4 Character cards played during the active player's turn.
In addition, the active player can play Fields free of charge. The maximum number of playing Fields at any time is 3.
