You’re a merchant in 1500s Russia, establishing a trade route across the Volga River in hope of gaining the most stars to win. Along the way, you find your market, participate in auctions and gambles, and make your route more efficient.

Before the game starts, players draft cards until everyone has chosen ten cards.

Each turn, the die is rolled and players choose a card from their hand to play simultaneously. Each player then reveals their cards and takes the primary action stated on it. Then, according to the card’s number, players will move their boat token across the cards in their tableau, doing the actions on the bottom of the card. After everyone has done this, players are able to participate in a public action (typically a purchase, auction, or gamble, rewarded in stars). Players collect stars throughout each of the phases, and the person with the most stars at the end of the game wins.
