Tras la batalla entre el sistema VHS y el BETA y con la victoria del primero empezó a extenderse un nuevo modelo de negocio: el VIDEO CLUB. 1999, los videoclubs están en su apogeo. Títulos de dudosa calidad y de los más variopintos, inundan las estanterías y los clientes corren prestos a alquilar la última bizarrada de serie B. Los jugadores son unos de esos clientes que esperan con anhelo la última novedad.
