Twins in Love is a two player thematic board game where players control identical wooden twins competing along a forest track to win the hand of the king's daughter in marriage. Setup begins with players rolling a die to determine the elder twin, who receives 5 starting coins, while the younger twin receives 7 coins. On each turn, a player executes two actions by either rolling the die twice, or rolling once and selling collected leaves. Die rolls govern movement across 1 to 8 spaces or trigger four mandatory actions: rotating 180 degrees, swapping positions with your twin, connecting to move together, or placing path-blocking walls. As players navigate the board, they interact with special spaces to draw Sloth King cards, collect or forfeit green and golden leaves, fall through shortcut tunnels, avoid cage imprisonment by paying a 2-coin penalty, and conduct free-form trades whenever standing nose-to-nose.

How to Win the Game: A round of play ends when a twin navigates the three-way junction stairs to reach the "house of fortune" and claims one piece of a three-part wooden statue of the king's daughter. The game concludes when the final statue piece is taken, and the primary victory condition requires a player to possess all "three statue pieces" to marry the princess.If neither player secures all three pieces during the rounds, players must buy the remaining missing pieces from their twin using coins, valued at 5 coins for the crown, 10 coins for the face, and 15 coins for the body. If both twins have sufficient funds to buy their missing pieces, purchasing priority goes to the player with the "most coins", or to the "elder twin" in the event of a tie; however, if neither player can afford all three pieces, both fail the Sloth King's challenge and lose.
