Tumor Tactics is a competitive card game in which each player takes the role of a doctor treating a patient with three tumors: Lung, Colon, and Skin. Each tumor begins at Stage 1 with 6 HP, and the first player to cure all three tumors at the same time wins.

On each turn, a player may play up to one Tactic card and one Utility card before drawing a card. Tactic cards represent treatments and cancer-fighting actions that reduce tumor HP. As tumors advance through later stages, treatment becomes more difficult and may require increasingly successful die rolls. Failed treatments deal no damage and cause the targeted tumor to regain HP.

Cancer cards cause active tumors to advance in stage and regain HP, or can cause previously cured tumors to relapse. Utility cards allow players to manipulate the deck, disrupt opponents, and trigger special effects, while Event cards create effects that influence all players. A tumor that reaches 0 HP is moved to that player's Cured pile, and the first player with all three tumor types in the Cured pile simultaneously wins.
