Trianglos (from triangle + LOS (Line of Sight)) is an abstract strategy game for two players: Black and White. It is played on the hexes (cells) of an initially empty hexagonal board. The recommended board size is 6 cells per side, although boards of 5 and 7 cells per side are also supported. Each player has an ample supply of stones of their own color.

Definitions:
A line of sight is a sequence of 0 or more consecutive cells in a straight line between two friendly stones.

A line of sight is free if it contains no enemy stones.
The length of a line of sight is the number of cells it contains.

The strength of a stone is determined by the concentric ring it occupies: the closer it is to the center, the greater its strength.
A triangle is the region consisting of the cells in its interior and along its sides.

Turns:Black plays first, then turns alternate. On your turn, perform one of the following actions:

Place a stone of your color on an empty cell that does not create a free line of sight of length greater than 0 with any friendly stone.
Choose two friendly stones with a line of sight. Move one away from the other while maintaining the line of sight. Then move the other until it establishes a new line of sight with the first, so that the two movements trace a triangle. Both moves may pass through empty cells and enemy stones. The triangle may not contain any friendly stones. The longest line of sight of the second stone must increase.

At the end of your turn, remove all enemy stones within the triangle whose strength is less than or equal to that of the second stone.

End of the game:If a player has no legal action, they must pass. When both players pass consecutively, the game ends. The player who made the last placement scores half a point. The player with the most stones of their color on the board wins.

To balance the game, before play begins, the first player places a black stone on an empty cell, then the second player chooses a side. This balancing method is known as the pie rule.
