Tomahawk: Lakota vs Cheyenne is a two-player abstract strategy game inspired by the Lakota and Cheyenne peoples and their traditional cultures.

Each player leads one of the two opposing tribes and attempts to defeat the enemy Chief. The primary objective of the game is to eliminate the opposing Chief.

Players move and position their pieces across the battlefield, seeking tactical opportunities to attack their opponent while protecting their own Chief. Careful positioning, anticipating the opponent’s moves, and choosing the right moment to attack are central to the game.

The game features Tomahawk Cards, which provide additional tactical options during the battle. These cards can influence the course of the game and create opportunities for different tactical decisions.
Tomahawk focuses on tactical combat, piece positioning, anticipating the opponent’s moves, and decision-making. Although the rules are designed to be relatively easy to learn, the limited battlefield and available tactical options create meaningful decisions throughout the game.
