In Thunder of Dragons, players take on the roles of competing dragon clans. Each turn you will choose a card from the lair (a shared market with a unique card circulating mechanism) to activate.

Each game has players blending base cards with special action cards to provide a virtually unlimited variety of action combinations, ensuring that no two games play alike.

Action cards help you gain unique advantages to give your dragons the edge. This may include expanding the kingdom, sending one of your dragons to claim a terrain, manipulating your dragon values or changing the game state to earn you big points.

Dice represent your dragons, and you begin the game with one of each value (1-6). The higher the value, the more powerful the dragon.

Whenever two dragons share a terrain, a clash ensues to prove dominance, with the losing dragon fleeing to another terrain, which may trigger another clash.

When one of the kingdom decks runs out or a player deploys all of their dragons, the game ends, with the player who has scored the most points winning.
