Three Twos is a climbing card game for three or four players in the family of Big Two and Gang of Four. Players race to empty their hands by playing singles, pairs, three of a kind, and five-card poker-style combinations, each strictly higher than the one before; cards left in hand when a round ends score penalty points, and the game ends when a player reaches 100, with the lowest total winning.

The game uses a purpose-built 52-card deck in three colors (Leaf, Water and Fire): ranks 3 through 10 twice in each color, three Twos, and a single multicolored Wild. The Twos are the highest natural cards, but they also close the loop: a Two can top a straight as an Eleven (7-8-9-10-Two) or sit below the 3 to form wrapped straights such as 9-10-2-3-4. Four or more of a kind are trumps that may be played on any combination regardless of its size.

The Wild is the game's central gamble. It outranks even the Twos: played alone it is the strongest single in the game, beatable only by a trump, and inside a combination it takes whatever value makes that combination strongest. Held to the end of a round, it costs its owner a flat 13-point penalty; played but on the losing side, it forces its owner to hand their best card to the round's winner before the next round begins.

Three Twos was designed with three players in mind, a count that traditional Big Two variants handle poorly: with the green Leaf Two removed, the deck deals evenly into 17-card hands. It is equally playable by four, with 13-card hands.
