Thrackdown is a tabletop skirmish wargame set amid the industrial ruins and fractured settlements of Nova Eden. Each player commands a small warband of desperate fighters drawn from one of six factions, typically six to eight models in a full game.

Players alternate activating one fighter at a time, taking actions to move, shoot, fight, interact with objectives, and support their allies. Incoming fire and battlefield pressure accumulate as Nerve, which can cause fighters to flinch, panic, or freeze. Daring actions generate Momentum that can be spent on Surges at decisive moments.

Each scenario defines its own objectives and victory conditions. Players score by completing objectives such as securing loot and by putting enemy fighters out of action; the warband with the most victory points at the end wins.
