The Mad King's Ire is a co-operative fantasy dungeon crawler, featuring, fast simultaneous turns, dice based combat with dice manipulation and engine building mechanics.

Trapped in the strange twisting realm of The Mad King, you must placate this crazed monarch by fulfilling tasks he sets. Working together to complete your set task will reveal the exit and allow you to escape and win the game. However you must do this before the other inhabitants of the dungeon overwhelm you. If one party member succumbs to their wounds, the task will fail and the game is over.

Quick set up time. Choose your hero, draw a task and you're ready to go! The dungeon builds as you play.

You never know what is around the next corner. Special event cards are drawn every time a room tile is revealed, and, when the Mad King's Ire raises, he may change the very nature of the dungeon in his rage.

As you explore the dungeon, you grow in power, with over 100 different skills to unlock and level up, and powerful items to discover, how you survive the Mad King's Realm is in your hands. Build the perfect character, but be aware, the longer you spend in the dungeon, the more dangerous it will become.

Dice based combat that isn't purely luck based. Dice manipulation mechanics allow you to spend resources to get the edge over your foes in combat, or utilise your hard earned skills to push the dice in your favour.

Multiple game modes with challenges and unlockable content, along with the randomised nature of the dungeon, tasks and levelling systems means you will never have the same experience twice.

Mad King's Ire has two game phases, the Hero phase and the Ire Phase:
During the Hero phase you will:
Use your momentum (action points) to explore the dungeon, combat foes and activate your special abilities.
Draw encounter cards when a room tile is revealed.

During the Ire phase:
The Mad King's Ire raises, when it reaches maximum, an Ire card is drawn which will change the nature of the game.

Foes in play move to attack the player's characters.

Turns and combat can be resolved simultaneously ensuring a fast paced gameplay where you are always part of the action, and a co-operative experience that isn't dominated by one player.
