In the height of the Klondike and Alaskan gold rushes, players manage teams of dogs to deliver mail, medicine, gold, and supplies across Alaska and the Yukon.

Players develop routes across difficult terrain by establishing roadhouses, and collaborate with other players to relay goods to their destination. When players share a contract, they also negotiate to share the rewards. Gold, however, should never trade hands - and you're responsible for getting it all the way to its destination.

When difficult routes are run and new roadhouses are developed, players will improve the skills of their dogsled teams and the supplies available at their roadhouses.

At the end of the game, the play who has gained the most prestige through contracts, roadhouses, and skilled dogs will win the game.
