The old king is without an heir. To solve this problem he issues a Trial. The realm is threatened by a dragon. The one that vanquishes the Dragon will be the new heir to the throne.

You are an adventurer and will do everything to win the throne, but you are not alone. Your competitors will do all they can to win too!
You have to gather a large amount of diamonds. With the diamons you can bribe the dragon to leave the realm. Vanquishing the dragon....which fool came up with that idea. Since fighting a dragon is an act of sheer folly.

During the game you will travel through the realm. Each turn you will face an event or finish one of your quests. You will gather your diamonds, but beware of the other adventurers. Sometimes they might want to help you if they can gain profit from the situation. But mostly they will do everything to slow you down, take your diamonds or make you lose your battles. Luckily you will be doing the same!!!

The King's Trial is a card driven game with a lot of player interaction. Every time you play the world will be different.
