The game tells the story of a young boy named Luna Windz that has been in a state of comatose. During this state, Luna explores a mystical dreamscape world called Ardanea.

Adventuring through this mystical world, Luna is accompanied by his imaginary friend Ashley, a mysterious young lady. Together, they explore the world of Ardanea in search of colored books that contain the wisdom of this strange world. Soon however, Luna discovers that these books are protected by powerful Guardians who will banish any who wishes to claim the books for themselves.

The goal of the game is to collect the most colored book collection sets between all the players. These books can be found through exploring the many expeditions found throughout the world of Ardenea. Be cautious however, expeditions are filled with guardians that will attack anyone that enters them.

Players exchange cards to go on expeditions and achieve goals.
The player that has the most colored book collection sets in at least three portal columns, or more, and that is able to keep them till the end of the game, is the winner! You receive books by exchanging explore cards for expedition cards.

The game ends immediately when the last card is taken from the explore deck, players then calculate who has the majority of expedition cards in at least three portal columns to determine a winner.
