The Island of Dr. Moreau is a competitive, medium-weight, card-driven, strategy board game from Writers Room. It features 105 apex predators with a fact-based ranking system.

You are scientists on Dr. Moreau’s island stitching human-animal hybrids known as ‘Beast Folk’ from interchangeable animal parts. Each part has strengths, speed, and a special ability that gives unique combinations to your beast and readies it for battle.

Draft five anatomical parts from over a hundred predatory animals
Use bodily resources and parts to assemble your beast
Upgrade your creation toward a single habitat – air, land, water
Roll and place custom dice to activate parts and abilities
Boost and bluff your attack and defense in a battle royale

Watch as limbs fall, heads roll, and battles are narrowly won and lost. The winner is the player to reach the target score and win the final battle.
