The Fridge Game

The Fridge Game is the tactical word game you play on your fridge.

Attach the magnetic board to your fridge (or non-metal surface – it’s clever so works on both).

Start by writing a five-letter word on the grid. When your opponent next wanders past the fridge, they add theirs. The longer your word, the more squares you get to colour in.

This is where it gets tactical. After seven turns, the player with the most cleverly-placed coloured squares wins.

It’s a bit like Scrabble on a fridge but more tactical, more fun and you can play it over minutes, hours or even days.

HOW TO PLAY:
1. Start by writing your first word on the board.

2. Every time you write a word, you color squares (don’t worry – there’s a key on the board!)
3. Take turns over hours, days, or weeks to write words and color your squares.

4. After seven turns each, count who dominated the most horizontal and vertical lines. The player with the most wins!
