Thần Chủ is a strategy game set in a fantasy mythological world, based on Vietnamese historical sources. This idea stems from the Vietnamese tradition of venerating national heroes and those who have made significant contributions, even bestowing divine status upon them. All characters in the game, whether originating from real historical records or mythological tales, are deified. Therefore, the costumes, weapons, and settings of each character contain divine, fictional elements.
