Beat to your tempo and sing to your muse, as you attempt to create a unique studio of cards, ranging from Techno the Wild, to Nova the Nuke!

You goal is to get 15 cards at the end.

Downbeat Phase (Draw)
Draw: Take 1 Rhythm Card from the Deck (skip this on the first Round).
If the Deck is Drawn completely, reshuffle the Discard Pile and Draw again. Cycle: Once per Round, you may Draw any number of Rhythm Cards from the Deck, then immediately reshuffle that same number of Rhythm Cards from your Hand (not including the Cards you just Drew) back into the Deck. You may Cycle at any time in a Round.

Composition Phase (Build)
Play: Place 1 unique Rhythm Card into your Studio. The Rhythm Card’s Value must match its Position number in the Studio.

Cost: To Play the Rhythm Card, Discard other Rhythm Cards from your Hand with a total Value equal to or higher than the Rhythm Card being Played. Once the required Value for the Rhythm Card has been met, no additional Rhythm Cards can be Discarded.
Pass/Fail: If you cannot or choose not to Play a Rhythm Card, you must Discard 1 Rhythm Card from your Hand.

Mix Phase (Resolve)
Resolution: Players Resolve their Studio Rhythm Cards in order from left to right.

Round Order: The First Player Token Moves to the next Player each Round. The First Player always resolves their Effects first.
Offset Negative Values: You may Discard Rhythm Cards to "Offset" the Cost of using a Rhythm Card that has Tempo Tokens on it, bringing the Value back towards positive (up to a maximum equal to the Tempo Tokens on that Rhythm Card).
This can only be done once anytime per Round, or multiple times with a corresponding number of Duplex Rhythm Cards.

Drop Phase (Maintenance)
Declining: Place 1 Tempo Token on every Rhythm Card currently in your Studio, reducing their Value by 1 for the next Round.
Hand Threshold: If you have more than 15 Rhythm Cards in Hand, Discard 1 Rhythm Card. Announcement: You must state your final Hand count to the other Player.
