Introduction In Talim: The Game of Mallakhamb, players take on the role of a Guru (master teacher) managing a traditional Indian gymnasium. Your goal is to restore the glory of your school by training the next generation of athletes in the ancient art of Mallakhamb—aerial yoga and wrestling performed on a wooden pole.

The Gameplay The game is played over four thrilling rounds, representing a season of intense preparation and rivalry. As a Guru, you must carefully manage your resources and students' stamina to turn raw talent into championship material.

Each round is divided into three distinct phases:

Market Phase: Visit the town to acquire essential resources. Draft new students, hire assistant trainers, and gather the supplies needed to run your Talim efficiently.

Training Phase: This is where champions are made. allocate your time and Urja (Energy) to develop your students' attributes. You must collect and strategically spend three types of skill tokens to master complex poses:

Bal (Strength): The raw power required to hold the pole.

Chapalta (Agility): The speed and flexibility needed to transition between poses.

Santulan (Balance): The focus required to maintain stability on the wooden axis.

Competition Phase (The Tournament): Put your training to the test! Enter your best students into the arena to perform against rival schools. Success in these tournaments is the only way to gain Pratishtha (Prestige).

Winning the Game The path to victory requires a balance of economic management and physical discipline. At the end of the fourth round, the Guru who has accumulated the most Pratishtha is declared the winner and their Talim becomes legendary.
