You play a mercenary Starfighter pilot.
Fly your Starfighter through the asteroid field, blasting asteroids with your ion weapon and collecting the ionised gold from the fragments you fly into. Beware, other starfighter pilots have arrived and want the gold for themselves. If you destroy an opponent’s starfighter, you can pick up it’s gold! You may play solo or in two teams
The first pilot to collect 5 Gold and jump to safety wins the game.
For a more exciting game, the asteroids move, making navigation unpredictable.

8 starfighter models, 8 starfighter boards, hex map or mat, 1 colour set of 8d6 per player.

POWER: At the start of each turn you may roll 2 energy dice and place these dice on an unpowered ship system, reducing the die to the max pips if roll is higher.
You may divert power form 1 system to another, once.

DRIFT: the fighter model in the direction of drift, as per momentum.
Fire at any point an opponent or asteroid appears in your fire arc. Any player may FIRE a charged weapon at any point by shouting fire (first) as opportunity arises.

MOVE: reduce pips on Thruster /Drive in any sequence to Rotate and Accelerate in the direction your model is facing.

TARGET : Reduce 1 pip on Sensor to gain a target lock +T to hit (T=pips remaining) on that target. Effectively increasing your weapon range.

JAM: a Targeted player may cancel your lock by spending the same amount of pips remaining in their own sensor only if the two ships are equal/closer than the defender’s sensor power (pips).

FIRE: Remove the weapons die from each powered weapon and roll it. If roll(+T) > distance between ships, hit with full power.

DAMAGE: Reduce the nearest shield (or system) by the power of the weapon.
Nearest Shield is powered?: Reduced Shield die by power of the hit. If the last shield pip is removed, the shield generator is burned out; place a Grey Damage token over the shield (shields cannot be destroyed). If any further damage it penetrates to the nearest system: outside to in. See below:

Nearest Shield is not powered on that side? ignore the shield and deal damage to each system from the nearest system: outside to in, placing Grey Damage token over the system per 1, flipping it to Black side for 2 damage and then onto the next system. If 1 damage reaches the power core, roll 1 die, If 2 or an additional damage reaches the core, the fighter explodes. Remove the fighter model and place a blast marker on the spot.
