1898 - American Forces are converging on the city of Santiago de Cuba in an effort to bring a victorious conclusion to the Spanish-American War. The terrain is brutal and disease and lack of supplies could force a retreat. A swift attack is needed. The Spanish are ready, though, with prepared positions with cannons, entrenchments, and blockhouses to repel the upstart Americans. The stage is set.

The Siege of Santiago is a low-to-moderate complex game covering the American attempt to end the Spanish-American War in 1898. The game takes about 90 minutes to play. One player commands the American forces and the other player commands the Spanish forces. Cards vary game play.
