Shogito is an turn based abstract strategy two player board game.
It was designed to make the ancient Japanese board game of Shogi easily accessible to everyone, regardless of language or experience.
The design of the pieces tells you how they can be moved, allowing you to play and plan each move easily. Thus, you will be able to enjoy Shogi with ease through the beauty of Shogito.

The goal of this game is to capture your opponent’s king. You can put the opponent’s pieces back in the field as yours if you captured them. This rule is unique to Shogi and it make the game more dynamic.

Shogito is designed with feedback from people of different generations, nationalities, and experience levels in order to make Shogi more accessible for anyone all over the world. The game manual is written in five languages : English, Dutch, German, Japanese and French. This box contains a game board for Shogi and three smaller sizes game boards. You can play four types of games.

Shogi is one of the most popular board game in Japan, rooted in everyday life and used as a communication tool to gauge the mental growth of children and the wellbeing of family or friends. Several Shogi tournaments are held every year over the world.
